Tinakhu Khola Small Hydropower Project
The Tinekhu Khola Small Hydropower Project (TKSHP) is a run-off-river hydropower facility designed to generate an installed capacity of 990 KW.
The project is situated in the Suri and Jhakhu VDCs of the Dolkha District within the Bagmati Province of Nepal, and it falls under the jurisdiction of the Gauri Shankhar Conservation Area.
The system utilizes a design flow of 0.35 cubic meters per second and a topographical gross head of 413.0 m. Infrastructure works, including access roads and camps, are 100% completed.Powerhouse civil works are 95% complete, with only secondary concrete pouring and door/window placements remaining. Headrace pipe civil works are 92.4% complete, with 1,820 meters of pipe already buried.Headworks and penstock pipe civil works are both estimated to be 30% complete. Electro-mechanical works are at 10%, as major components have reached the site but are not yet installed.
